India May Launch Attack Soon, Pakistan Claims With 'Credible Intelligence'

Tensions between India and Pakistan rose sharply on Wednesday after a top Pakistani official said they had “credible intelligence” that India might launch a military strike within the next two days.

The warning came as both the United States and China called for calm and urged both countries to avoid conflict.

Tensions between India and Pakistan have grown after a top Pakistani official said on Wednesday that they had “credible intelligence” suggesting India may carry out a military attack within the next two days.

This statement has raised concerns, and both the United States and China have urged the two countries to stay calm and avoid conflict.

Pakistan’s Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, claimed in a late-night post on X that the country has “credible intelligence” suggesting India is planning a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours. However, he did not provide any details to support the claim.

This warning comes just a week after 26 tourists were killed by militants in Pahalgam, a mountain town in Indian-administered Kashmir. The brutal attack has sparked widespread anger across India.

India has blamed Pakistan for being involved in the massacre — a charge Pakistan strongly denies. In response, Islamabad has offered to allow a neutral investigation into the incident.

Kashmir remains one of the world’s most dangerous flashpoints, claimed in full by both India and Pakistan, though each controls only part of the region. The two nuclear-armed neighbors have fought three wars—mostly over this disputed territory—since gaining independence from Britain nearly 80 years ago.

Last week’s deadly militant attack, which killed 26 tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir, triggered widespread outrage across India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi now faces growing pressure to respond with military force.

Back in 2019, India launched airstrikes inside Pakistan after a similar attack on its paramilitary forces—marking the first cross-border strike since the 1971 war. Now, many fear a repeat of such action could be on the horizon.

In a fiery speech last week, Modi vowed to chase down the attackers “to the ends of the earth.” Since then, tensions between the two countries have only intensified, with both sides exchanging strong warnings.

On Wednesday, Pakistan’s Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, warned that any “military adventurism by India would be responded to assuredly and decisively.”

Explosion at Iranian Port Kills 5, Injures Almost 700..

A massive explosion at the Shahid Rajaee port in Bandar Abbas, southwestern Iran, killed five people and injured over 700, according to Iranian state media. Videos verified by CNN showed thick gray smoke rising from the port, with authorities linking the blast to chemical storage.

Emergency services initially reported four deaths and over 500 injuries. Surveillance footage from the Mehr news agency captured the moment of the blast, believed to have originated in a warehouse. Helicopters were seen battling the ensuing fire, which scattered debris across a wide area, damaging many port buildings and shattering windows kilometers away.

Some reports indicated that people were trapped under rubble. The port has been closed, and maritime operations suspended. Injured individuals were transported to hospitals in Bandar Abbas, and officials announced that the fire has been contained.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has ordered an investigation, sending the interior minister to oversee the response. A government spokeswoman said the explosion likely involved chemical containers, though the exact cause remains under investigation.

Shahid Rajaee port, one of Iran’s largest, spans 2,400 hectares and handles around 70 million tons of cargo annually, including oil and general freight.

Virginia Giuffre, Who Accused Prince Andrew of Sexual Assault, She lost her life to suicide.

Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault, has died at the age of 41. Her family confirmed to NBC News that she took her own life at her farm in Neergabby, a suburb of Perth, Australia, where she had lived for several years.
"It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce Virginia passed away last night," her family said. "She lost her life to suicide after enduring a lifetime of sexual abuse and trafficking. Virginia was a fierce advocate for survivors, but the burden became too great."

Emergency services were called to her property Friday night after reports of an unresponsive woman. Despite first aid efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the death is not considered suspicious and Major Crime detectives are investigating.
Giuffre sued Prince Andrew in 2021, alleging he sexually abused her when she was 17 after being trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew has consistently denied the allegations and has not faced criminal charges. In 2022, the two reached an out-of-court settlement, which included a substantial donation to Giuffre’s charity supporting victims' rights.

‘Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning’ Will Be the Longest Film in the Franchise by Far

Your mission—should you choose to accept it—will take longer than ever before.

Paramount Pictures' Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set to be the climactic chapter in Tom Cruise’s long-running espionage saga, and it's coming in with a hefty runtime. According to ComicBook.com, the film clocks in at 2 hours and 49 minutes, making it the longest entry in the Mission: Impossible franchise to date.

Plot details for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning remain under wraps, but what’s known is that Ethan Hunt is once again racing to prevent global catastrophe. A direct sequel to Dead Reckoning, the film sees Hunt and the IMF team face off against longtime nemesis Gabriel (Esai Morales), who is attempting to unleash a powerful AI known as the Entity. The last film ended with the team preparing to infiltrate a sunken submarine that holds the key to stopping it.

As always, Tom Cruise brings his signature stunt work to the forefront. Behind-the-scenes footage and trailers reveal him clinging to a plane mid-flight with only a single safety cable—just one of many gravity-defying feats. From cliff-diving on a motorcycle to scaling skyscrapers, The Final Reckoning promises to push the action even further.

The Final Reckoning brings back familiar faces from the franchise, including Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett, and more. Christopher McQuarrie returns as director and co-writer, teaming up with Erik Jendresen on the script. The film is produced by McQuarrie and Tom Cruise under his TC Productions banner, in partnership with Paramount and Skydance.

India Hunts Gunmen After Deadly Kashmir Attack Kills 26 Tourists:
Indian forces are searching for militants behind a deadly attack in Pahalgam, Indian-administered Kashmir, that killed 26 male tourists—the deadliest in years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cutting short a Saudi Arabia visit, condemned the "heinous act" and vowed justice.
A little-known group, The Resistance Front, claimed responsibility, citing anger over the settlement of over 85,000 “outsiders” in the region. Candlelight vigils and protests demanding accountability have followed.

Analysts Urge Caution as India Responds to Deadly Kashmir Attack:
Following the Pahalgam attack, journalist Neha Poonia told Al Jazeera that India hasn't seen such violence in its decades-long conflict in Kashmir. Federal Home Minister Amit Shah is leading a major response, including a wide-reaching manhunt.

Critics question how the attack occurred despite heavy security in the region. Poonia noted that after a similar 2019 attack, India launched cross-border strikes on Pakistan, which escalated tensions. While the government vows a strong response, analysts warn against retaliatory action that could further destabilize ties with Pakistan.

John Cena Wins Undisputed WWE Championship, Breaks Record at Wrestle Mania.

"The Champ" is the champ once again.

In an electrifying main event at WrestleMania 41, John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship, breaking the all-time record for most WWE title reigns.

The match was a dramatic back-and-forth, with both men trading signature moves and near falls. Cena leaned into his vintage playbook, hitting multiple Attitude Adjustments and locking in the STF, while Rhodes kept pushing back with Cody Cutters and the Cross Rhodes. A ref bump, an exposed turnbuckle, and a surprise appearance by Travis Scott added chaos to the already intense showdown.

Despite interference and Rhodes nearly sealing the win, Cena capitalized on a low blow and a final AA to get the three-count as the ref recovered.

This victory marks a historic milestone in Cena’s farewell tour, cementing his legacy in what is expected to be his final year inside the WWE ring.
